Biography of Linda ikeji and Net worth

Linda ikeji Biography

There is no doubt that there is a tremendous increase in the number of wealthy people, specifically from the online/e-commerce and entertainment industry in Nigeria and indeed Africa as a whole, in recent time.

New mediums of making money rather than the conventional old ways, like e-commerce, for example, has made it easy for people to make money from the comfort of their living rooms.

One person who has done exactly that is Linda Ikeji.

Mrs. Ikeji is today one of the richest and most popular online entrepreneurs on the whole African continent.

Her rise to fame and wealth through a mediumthat was not very well known and also not respected in Nigeria puzzles many. However, those who have had a close relationship with her, and were quite conversant about the online/blogging business, knew it had great potential to take her and any other person who dared to delve into it to a greater place.

Linda Ikeji’ life is indeed an inspiration to the youth of Africa, especially young ladies, who struggle to make it in life in a somewhat male-dominated society.

Below is a look at how she made it from her humble beginnings.

Linda Ikeji Biography

Linda Ikeji was born Linda Ifeoma Ikeji on September 19, 1980. She is the second of seven children from her parents who hail from Nkwerre, a local government area in the southeastern state of Imo, Nigeria.

Like many other families from the region, Linda was raised in a Christian Catholic home that went through its fair share of financial instability.

At the young age of ten, she had already begun writing short fictional stories as a hobby.

Added to her knack for storytelling, she loved to report on the news and was fascinated by interviews.

This prompted her to pursue a degree in mass communication at the University of Lagos.

But unfortunately for her, she was admitted to stud the English Language.

She began university at the age of 19, and due to her family’s struggles, had to support herself financially.

She worked different jobs as a waitress, usher at occasions, bar-tending, and as a model.

You can tell of her diligence and self-confidence, poise and great presentation skills, high sense of dressing and most importantly, her beauty, she excelled as a model. However, modeling was not well paying at that time in Nigeria, Linda saw it as a kind of job she could do to feed and help herself through school rather than engaging in jobs that will “take her dignity”.

Upon the completion of her university education,Linda set up her own modeling agency, called Black dove Communications, a name coined and inspired by Silverbird.

The business was not as profitable as she had hoped, so when she turned to blogging, she paid all her attention to it andmade the most out of it.

Today, Linda is a self-made multi-millionaire who made her money without any form of corruption, dishonesty or deception as it’s common with a number of ladies nowadays.

Success Journey (Blog, SocialNetwork)

As we already know, not all success stories are smooth, and Linda’s is not an exception.

Her “sudden rise into fame” as some would see it was never sudden, her journey was full of difficulties, financial instability and of course as a beautiful young girl, distractions.

But it’s amazing how she struggled through with determination and focus.

She started blogging in November 2006, a time when internet access was least pronounced in Nigeria and also a time when only a few people blogged about their personal lives and their families.

One could tell of her little beginnings as she is not tired of telling her story of how she used to borrow money to go to cybercafes to blog. Since its inception, first in 2006 and fully in 2007, Linda Ikeji blog has become a well-known blog all around Africa.

Starting first as a gossip blog which was then the first of its kind in Nigeria, “LIB” as it is famously called, has grown to become the centerpiece of entertainment, covering news and events happening in and around Africa and even beyond. It also covers

lifestyle and fashion stories.

Thousands of people from all over the continent troop into her blog on a daily basis for allthis.

Nigerians abroad also visit the blog to have full details of what goes on in and around theirhome country.

Linda Ikeji Blog is currently ranked 20th on the Alexa ranking in Nigeria and 1,736 worldwide. She has one of the most active blogs in the country, with her social media following increasing by the thousands each day.

She currently has more than 750,000 on Twitter, over 36,000 likes on Facebook and over 52,000 followers on Instagram.

Following the success of her blog, Linda Ikeji launched a social network named Linda Ikeji Social.

She said the idea came to her when she met fans who told her that they only visited two sites; LIB and Facebook.

That prompted her to create something that incorporated what both sites offer.

The networking platform uses the domain name On the first day of its launch, over 50,000 people had signed up.

Her strategy for the site was very attracted as she promised to pay users a percentage based on the number of their followers and the adverts placed on their page.

She also said she would be buying user’s content/stories depending on its originality.

Linda Ikeji Net Worth (House,Cars)

Through blogging, Linda has gathered for herself lots of wealth with her site said to be worth 7 figures.

Linda Ikeji’s net worth is estimated to be around N3.2 billion.

With that amount of money, you don’t expect her not to live lavish.

She has spent over N50 million on cars for herself and other family members. That adds to her garage which already boasted of a 2008 Toyota Camry, and an Infinity FX 35 SUV.

She also acquired two new houses, a 5-bedroom duplex for her parents in Surulere, and a seven-bedroom mansion on the Island for herself valued upwards of N300 million.

Linda Ikeji has clashes severally with people, who feel she goes too far in prying into their personal lives.

These people include top Nigerian celebrities like Wizkid, Olamide, Yvonne Nelson, and many more.

One particular incident that stood out was when she was accused of stealing content which led to the removal of her blog by Google in 2014.

After sorting out the issue, Linda came back stronger and even expanded her business. She recruited journalists whose jobs will be to bring her more exclusive content for her Blog. Philanthropy/Achievements

Linda Ikeji engages in a lot of philanthropic activities. She most notably takes joy from supporting young girls between the ages of 18 and 26 who have great business ideas and are willing to venture into entrepreneurship.

Top 10 Longest Bridge In The word

10 Longest Bridges in The world

Architecture has never failed to inspire me, in fact, I thought about it as a career once.

This particular list follows ten of the world’s longest bridges.

The mere structures are something to admire.

Building these huge structures must have been a great deal of pain for the workers nonetheless, they stand mighty as ever. For your information, six of these longest bridges are located in China and three of them were constructed in the United States of America.

This list has been compiled to let bridges from all over the world be a part of it. I hope this list proves informative.

here is list as follow

Bang Na expressway takes the first spot. The bridge is situated in Bangkok,Thailand.

It has a total of six lanes and is around 54 kilometers long. It is considered to be the longest bridge in the entire world.

The construction of the bridge was completed somewhere in March in the year 2000, after long years of construction.

The bridge required a total of 1,800,000 cubic meters of concrete. The bridge links Chalerm Naha Nakhoon to Bang Pakong today.

Lake Pontchartrain Causeway is located in Southern Louisiana in the UnitedStates.

The bridge is around 38.4 kilometers long. This is considered to be one of the oldest bridges in the world because it dates back to the nineteenth century when it was first built. Around 9,500 pilings of concrete serve as strong support for the bridge.

This bridge links Metairie to Mandeville. It should also be known that since its construction, the bridge was struck by barges on three different occasions causing significant damage.

This particular bridge is located in Louisiana. This comes in close to the Lake Pontchartain Causeway, also in Louisiana and discussed ahead.

The bridge is around 36.60 kilometers long. The construction of Manchac Swamp Bridge was completed in the year 1970.

The interstate 55 rides over the Manchac Swamp with the help of this bridge in Louisiana. This particular bridge is considered to be the busiest in the United States.

This is a cable-stayed bridge and is constructed over the Tagus River near Lisbon. Lisbon is the capital of Portugal if anyone is wondering. This is considered to be the longest bridge in entire Europe and covers a distance of 17.2 kilometers.

The purpose behind the bridge was to reduce the traffic on the other bridge in Lisbon.

The construction for this bridge began in 1995 and was completed three years after in the year 1998.

The speed limit on the bridge is around 120 km/h which I think is pretty appropriate and it has six road lanes.

This is a dual carriageway toll bridge and it connects George Town (Island of Penang) and Seberang Prai (Mainland Malaysia). It is also linked with the North-South Expressway.

The bridge was opened for traffic in the year 1985 and is around 13.5 kilometers long. It is the fourth-largest bridge in South-East Asia and the longest one in Malaysia.

It was designed by Professor Chin Fung Kee, who is a well-known civil engineer in the region.

The bridge handles a daily capacity of 65,000 vehicle every day and can handle around 85,000 vehicles in total.

This bridge is also referred to as President Costa e Silva Bridge and is a box girder bridge. It is located at the Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It connects the city of Rio to the municipality of Niteroi. If you consider the southern hemisphere, it is the longest pre-stressed concrete bridge.

It is the sixth longest bridge in the world and from 1974 to 1985 it was only second to Lake Pontchartrain Causeway (discussed ahead). It is a total of 13.2 kilometers long.

The third mainland bridge is the longest bridge that connects Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria to the mainland.

There are a total of three bridges serving the same purpose and the names of the other two are Eko and Carter.

This bridge is the longest one in Africa. It was built by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC and opened by President Ibrahim Babangida in the year 1990. It is around 11.8 kilometers in length.

There were reports that the bridge vibrates viciously and the matter was given urgent attention.

There are no tolls on this bridge and it serves vehicular traffic.

This bridge is named after the King of Saudi Arabia, his highness, King Fahad. The bridge has four lanes and is a total of 8 kilometers long.

The bridge in the year 1986 after a total construction period of fifteen years. The construction cost around $1.2 billion.

The bridge holds a significant importance in terms of trade and commerce between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

This is a steel box girder cable-stayed bridge in Melbourne, Australia. The bridge covers the Yarra River.

This particular bridge serves as an important link between the inner city and the industrial suburbs and the city of Geelong.

The bridge is 58 meters Gabo vet he water and is around 2.582 kilometers. The bridge is the third longest bridge in Australia behind the Houghton Highway and the Hornibrook Bridge.

The Sydney Bridge is half its size. The bridge has a total of five lanes in each direction. It was originally supposed to be a tolled bridge but that changed in 1985.

The bridge is located in South Korea. It was completed in the year 2009 in October.

The bridge covers a distance of around 2.3 kilometers. The bridge was constructed with extreme difficulties considering the structure of the bridge and the construction.

It took a long time to complete the structure. The bridge serves as a link between Songdo and Incheon International Airport. I say that this is quite an attractive way to lead foreigners to the main city. It looks beautiful too.
